stop error

Stop : 0X000000D1 (0X00000030, 0X00000007, 0X00000000, 0XF84719A0)

I have looked in the seach options and read other problems but it just goes over my head.

How do I stop the computer from re-booting every time.

Or is there another way to get to the device manager.

Help needed.

Are you on XP?

Try the system file checker:

scannow sfc - how to use SFC.EXE (system file checker).

Give some details of your system.

Will it start in safe mode? Press F8 at boot up and choose from the menu.

Otherwise try a recovery: click here
XP Recovery Console click here

What happens when you try to boot from CD?

Do you have a full CD or a recovery disk?

Is your PC set to boot from CD?

I managed to boot from cd for recovery console but as soon as you enter for your chosen windows installation up pops the stop error.

Anyone else help.
