every time i startup a message appears from dell support saying a problem has occured and we are closing down; how can i clear this from my screen?

Something must be starting up to cause the problem.

I suspect a blue screen.

If not msconfig will sort it.

exact message from dell support as follows;

if you were in the middle of something,the information you were working on might be lost.

Without seeing the exact error message how on earth do you expect anybody to find a fix? Please copy it and post it here.

Right to get rid of the error message we must sort the problem.

To know what the problem is we need to know what the error is.

Can you copy and paste the error message here??

Take it a bit at a time...

What Operating system are you using? For example Windows 98 or XP.

Have you installed any new hardware or software?

Has the error just suddenly appeared or did it happen say after you changed a setting?
