Just put the disk in and it might start up from disk or you may have to go into bios and change the start-up sequence so that it starts on the cd drive then follow the promps.

Hi, if the disk came with the machine then your friend should insert the disk, and then switch the machine off. make sure that the boot order in the Bios is set up so that it reads the cd drive first. to do this when you restart the machine press f2 when first starting up(on most machines) this will put you into the Bios setup go through the various windows until you see where it says something like boot up order.

Change the order by using the cursor keys until the first thing it will read is the cd disk then the Hard disk fianally floppy. Then press f10 to save settings and restart with the disk in the machine the windows disk will now load make sure to have the licence number to hand as it will ask for this during instalation i hope this helps.
