Windows XP Pro

Start > Programs displays all my programs - how do I reset it to display only the most recent

Start > Programs is supposed to display all programs. Xp can display your most used programs in the left column by right clicking the start button and selecting properies. Under the start menu tab make sure start menu is sleected rather than classic start menu.

Is this what you mean?

and click remove from list.- be selective.

Right-click on the Start button, choose Properties, click the "Customize" button and tick the "Use Personalised menus" option in the "Advanced start menu options" window, click OK and OK to exit.
