Start up

After a overnight shut down the computer is slow to start,sometimes taking 10 minutes to open up to the desktop screen. Occasionally if I click the mouse it will come to life sooner,but not everytime

The last one will tell you what is actually loading up(also shows the hidden ones as well)

this should answer all of your questions and also make your pc run like new.

all are freeware.

You should also scan for virus, etc.

AVG, Adaware, Spybot S&D, Spywareblaster, etc.

Go to Start/Run/ type msconfig, look under the start tab and untick any programs that you actually don't need at start up. Many pieces of software automatically put themselves into start up by default when you don't really need them.

It is a small freeware utility that sits in your CONTROL PANEL and lets you select which programs to disable on start up.
