SSD missing after RAM installation

I installed some RAM (same as I had already) to upgrade from 8GB to 16GB. PC restarted OK but realised Steam & installed games were missing as my 'G' drive Samsung SSD had vanished. Tried restarting several times but Windows would not load up. I removed the 2 RAM modules & PC started OK but the SSD is still missing. Any ideas?

Remove and reseat cables to HDD, I suspect you have dislodged one when fitting RAM.

Thanks...that worked. Just to need to find out why the PC wouldn't start with the new RAM installed. (Windows is not on the drive with which I had the issue with).

Fitted the RAM again & no problems this time.
