Spyware bot

  hanmaddog 09:33 31 May 2006

The above has detected 58 pieces of spyware on my computer which it said the download was free.

It's now asking me to pay $48 for it to remove them - is this right??

It's also saying that the credit card page is unencrypted and can be read by a third party.

Is this a bit stinky???

Also - any other ideas of how to get rid if this is no good?

click here Download SuperAntispyware and do the job for free. A lot of these companies find lots to frighten you into buying their product

ditch it, there are plenty of very good free tools for dealing with the problem, such as adaware, spybot search and destroy, super anti spyware, spyware blaster to name but a few, and all available from download section of this site.
