spelling in outlook

after loading Microsoft Office 2007 student edition, I have a spell checker in outlook,
BUT it is in french, and am unable the change it to English, as it does not appear tro be there.

It sounds as if you have the default language for all of Office set to French. Open Word and on the Review tab click on set language. You should have English UK (if in UK and you want English!). The click on default.

Have tried what was suggested defalt in word is English, But outlook French.

In Outlook create a new e-mail message then on the message tab ribbon click on spelling then set language and select English UK and default.

1. Close Outlook

2. Download and run the Spell Checker file:

3. Open Outlook

4. Now attempt to use the spell checker utility.
