spell checker ForfireFox

  jack 17:57 23 Jan 2006

That would be a good idea I thought ,looking at another raft of typos in a post I had made.

Doing a search on PCA database gave me SpellBound for FireFox.
But when I came to download it Mozilla blocked it.

Any thoughts, any alternatives anyone?

I've used spellbound for about 2 years with no problems. I got my version from here click here

I think you mean that Firefox gives you a warning when you try to download the extension. This is a security feature not dissimilar to IE6. Just click on edit and select allow downloads from this website.

jayday you are correct with regards the warning having looked at it once more.
The web site you offered is the same as the search panel came up with
So I did it but still go a 'not allowed' warning say it will only work with v.1
with Flashgot coming up .
I will play some more.

If you install the Google Toolbar, that has a spell checker built in. It's great for forums like this.
