speedtouch router

quick one. if I install a speedtouch wireless router in order to share aol broadband, must I also use speedtouch usb adapters or can I buy cheaper ones eg edimax?

I would suggest that you stick to what are matched products. You can of course buy any but you may have trouble getting them to work together.

colcol I agree with howard63 ... I bought a Bt voyager wireless modem/router and Philips USB wireless adaptors.
Big mistake. Might as well have been in Chinese. Took them back and exchanged for BT ones. Up and running in 20 minutes on both computers.

thanks for your advice. i will bite the bullet and buy expensive speedtouch usb adapters. I have spent hours trying to get the mis-matched but cheaper adapters to talk to each other.

all I need now is a cheap (er) source of speedtouch adapters.
