Whats the difference between Digital and Optical zoom????

  woodchip 17:28 23 Jun 2004

Optical is done with the lense it is better, as digital can be done with computer. but at the price for all that above, I shall be there a week Thursday for one. If you check google you will find that the camera sells for £149 without 64Mb memory AND NO charger or rechargeable battery's. These are extras only given with the camera at Lidl

Where did you get this info from - been on Lidl web site and no mention of it.

  jz 17:50 23 Jun 2004

Digital zoom cannot always be done with a computer. It depends on what resolutions settings you take your photos with.
