Speaker volume control in registry

  zoobie 17:17 16 Apr 2005

I was told there was a speaker volume control multiplier in the registry but I can't find it.
Any help appreciated.

I was told this would only be found when using a program that sets its own volume parameters, eg. a DVD player.

Well, it's for a audio card...SB0090
It doesn't play very loud and I was told there was a multiplier in the registry.

I understand this sound card must be used with amplified speakers. Could this be the problem?

What kind of goofy card is this?
I need amplified speakers, available adjacent slot for the Audigy Extension bracket?

And you bought it?

I didn't do my homework on this one...and assumed it was just a regular card with a firewire interface. My loss...
Thanks...I think

Can't you return it as incompatible?

I bought it off eBay...and am relisting it...with full requirements so nobody else gets taken.
