Sound drivers

I've reinstalled Win XP Pro but there's no sound.

The PC is a Futjitsu-Seimens and the motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-8ISXT-FS and the chipset is VIA. I've been on the manufacturer's website but I'm not sure which drivers I'm looking for to download.

Surely the CD was provided with the computer. Have you checked them all?

The PC was bought from work a couple of years ago and there was no OS CD or drivers CD. It came as is.

This says that the chipset is Intel and the sound is Realtek ALC650. If this doesn't correspond with your motherboard then you may be better searching on the Fujitsu model numbers on the PC.
