Sound card question

does anyone know how i go about disaleing my sound card.

If it's on-board sound, try disabling it in Device Manager, the BIOS or via a jumper on the motherboard. If it's a PCI sound card, try disabling it via the Device manager or remove it.

and select 'Control panel' from the right-hand column.

Now click on the system icon.

Click the hardware tab.

Click the 'Device manager' button

Look for 'Sound, video and game controllers and click the plus sign

Find your soundcard and double click on it.

Go to the bottom of the dialogue box and click the arrow next to the box that says 'Use this device - enable'

Select 'Do not use this device - disable'

Click OK and close any open boxes.
