  Paul-194573 19:12 16 Mar 2005

I am having a problem with a programme on my PC and was wondering where I can obtain a recovery disc (as i don't have one) so that I can re-install the programme.
Any kind of help would be great

Whats the problem?

The person who had the pc before me deleted a programme called Sony Giga Pocket, and I am unable to use the TV function without it.

Your best bet is to get in touch with Sony (see click here for contact details) and order an English Recovery Disk for about 20 Euros. If you need a few of the softwares on there then it's not so bad value really.

I have contacted Sony by email, but I haven't heard anything back as yet. is it best to ring them?

There may be a Hidden partition with all the restore setup on it. And it may just need a Sony floppy to set it running

Check this click here

You need the exact Desktop Model Number to put in the drop down box

I don't have a recovery disc though. I can't find the original as I have only just been given it. I'm going to contact sony and hopefully they can come up with something.

Any other suggestions?

Have you tried the link

The link implies that you need a recovery disc. doesn't it?

The link does state you need a recovery disc. or am I just blind?!
