Sony FS415E laptop?

  Daibus 15:13 12 Apr 2006

Still can`t make up my mind what laptop to buy and have recently seen the Sony FS415E which is sold at quite a reasonable price - their screens I know are excellent.

The Processor is a Intel Celeron M 390 1.70GHz as against a Pentium M or Dual Core and was wondering if the Celeron is OK - will it be adequate for most tasks and as the price for the laptop is under £700 would the general view be that it is a fairly good buy or could one do better for the money?

Many thanks.

I think you could do alot better for the money. Even though Sony's screens are excellent the components in that laptop are not that good and certainly not worth the £631(0nline price) and £700 (in-store price).

Why not choose a Acer laptop, I have one and the screen quality is very good.

ACER ASPIRE 1642WLMI (£579.99 online and £600 in-store)
Excellent spec for the price and would handle alot more than the Sony vaio with a Celeron M Processor.
Here it is to have a look click here

Many thanks for your reply and will see if I can take a look at that model, here in Spain.
