Sonic DLA for saving to CD

When I got my laptop it came with Sonic DLA for saving to CD. Has anyone any thoughts on this program because it is driving me mad!All I want is to save data files from word processing and all the other abilities, music burning etc are unwanted. However, sometimes when I FINALLY MANAGE to save a file it won't let me retrieve it or tells me I can't alter it. On other occasions it says the disc is full even though it's only just been formatted.

Is it worth perservering or shall I remove it in favour of Nero? Are there any other programs out there that are more basic but work?

Running XP Home.

because all of them are incompitable

Roxio has DirectCD, Nero has InCD, Sonic has DLA, NTI has FileCD, what else, all of them incompitable

I had DLA on my laptop and remove it after it give me problem. The labtop seller (higrade) gave me nero later, but again I never use InCD.

For permanet storage: burn to CD and close it.

For temp storage: get a usb flash memmory stick, 1GB one can be bought around £50 and much reliable than CDs
