Hi. some keys in my wireless Microsoft keyboard stop working a few days ago (on the top the numbers 1-2-3 and 4. At the bottom the letters z-x-c and v . Any idea what the problem is?. Thanks
A circuit board fault probably
These things are simple to dismantle' but really not worth the trouble.
They are so cheap now, wireless or vUSB. Amazon,Morgan computers,eBay
£10 plus shipping should do it.
Yes, not worth the effort unless you know what you are doing. Just to make sure try it in a friends computer, it won't do it any harm.
Sounds as if it could be a small moisture splash, maybe. I agree a replacement is indicated.
I agree with the others, just buy a new one, not worth messing about with.
Just get another keyboard the're cheap, then if you fancy it take the old one to pieces and try to repair it if your successful you have a spare.I have a spare keyboard just in case of mishaps anyway
