Software to rip vinyl

Can anyone advise my on the best software to use for recording some old vinyl records to my pc.I'm not sure how this is done,but if anyone could recommend the best program for doing this,i would appreciate it.Thankyou.

Audacity click here should do the trick for you, wesparmalee, and if you type the word vinyl into the search box on the left, you should get plenty of threads telling you how to do it.

I think Nero SoundTrax might do a good job.

Also try typing in "LP TO CD" into Google.

I have been using the Audio Cleaning Lab to do this for me for a couple of years now and I think the effects or results are excellent.Some of the vinyl I had was very scratched but you can remove the scratches , hisses , rumbles etc etc very easily.The instructions are easy to understand and the results I can't fault.Have a look at it here click here=
