Software removal

I'm sure this topic will have been covered, but I cannot find it after doing a search.
I have a couple of software programmes that will not unistall, any free removal downloads?

One option is to install them again and then try the uninstaller routine.

Just got home and read your answers guys thanks
I will try the download prog tomorrow. (Bit late now)

Rawprawn I did add a thread to 2help with porn removal" and yes I had clicked on wrong download, prob resolved now.

I use Regseeker from click here to find any registry entries related to uninstalled programs. Just type the program name or vendor name in the search for box under find in registry. It works in a similar way to using regedit, but displays all entries at once. I then delete all the entries I feel confident about deleting. The program makes a backup of deleted entries so you can restore if you need to.
