Software on 2 pcs?

I have desktop PC and im going to buy a laptop. I currently have Office XP on the PC will i be able to install this software onto the laptop? or is it like Windows XP where u can only install onto one computer???

Read the licence some software packages permit an additional copy on a laptop as long as you are the sole user and the machines aren't run at the same time (I can't see how they would check this). I think this applies to Office, but don't have a copy handy so can't confirm this.
You could also go to click here OpenOffice is very good, free and compatible with Office.

With Office you may have one copy on your desktop and one on your Laptop. They will both "Activate" and register if you wish to register. I have the same. j.
