What are you going to use it for? Gaming?

  rossgolf 16:47 21 Dec 2007

i wud go for the compaq personally

  brunettedonna19 16:49 21 Dec 2007

Although I know from experience that Toshiba are very good, I would go for the Compaq. It has a smaller hd but more memory. I would say that that would be more beneficial.

Its compaq that I'm looking at getting after Xmas, (Don't tell the wife, lol!)

is compaq a good make? and the compaq being only 80gb with the new vista will it run slow?

  Quiet Life 17:16 21 Dec 2007

HP Compaq is a good make. This model despite PC World etc advertising has a wireless lan.

The 2gb. of memory is what counts for Vista. An 80gb harddrive is really very big and the dual core processor is a big advantage for doing something whilst something else is also working.

so u all would deffo suggest the compaq yeah?

  anskyber 17:21 21 Dec 2007

Yes, without a doubt because of the need for good RAM and Vista Premium.
