So much to learn!!

Being a novice who only recently found this excellent forum I have been really impressed with the level of knowledge out there. Although I appreciate that is down to either being in the industry, years at college or just built up over time I am keen to increase my own knowledge as quickly as possible.

Does anybody know of any good websites where I can do this. I want to learn what it means when you refer to hard drives as 'master and slave' and what to type under 'Run' in the Start menu to fix a mutitude of problems.

I am not looking for miracles and know that it does take time, but all the same ............... any suggestions?

You could look at doing a college course part-time if you are working. Your local community centre or library will also probably run some courses.
