Sluggish Screen

I found a similar problem on here, but it was solved by updating his graphic driver. However i dont seem to have one on my laptop so i cant do that. Iv basiclly got the same problems. When i scroll down a web page or anything its very sluggish and you can see the screen slowly refreshing it. You can follow the refresh line with your finger its that slow. Also when dragging windows it leaves a massive trail. Ive just re-formatted my hard drive so theres hardly no processes running. All recent windows updates and AV updates are installed. Anyone got any solutions? Thanks in advance.

You will still have a graphics driver.Right click My Computer-Properties-Hardware-Device Manager-open display adapters, right clcik whats there and click update driver

In reformatting you will have lost all the componenet drivers, therefore Windows will be running
fron default generic drivers from its own library.
You will need to down load all the apporpriate drivers from the HP web site
This will apply the whole machine- Sounds/ Modem- what have you.
