Slave Drive

I have just added an identical slave drive to my computer. It is recognised by BIOS and when I go to system information it shows 2 drives. However, My Computer does not recognise there is a drive; it only shows C: I have one of these new round IDE cables and room is a bit tight so I might try changing that. Any other ideas?

If cable is faulty the drive should not be recognised by BIOS or system info.

Have you formatted the slave drive? An unformatted drive will not show in 'My Computer'.

I had same problem thinking my slave drive was already formatted which it wasn't.
