I have just have sky installed and i am wondering if i can get a lead from my digibox(which has a 9 pin rs 323 connection on) that will connect into the back of my tower so that i can get the audio coming out of it.If so have i got to have a special sound card

I have a Freeview digibox, but I think the principle is the same.

You will need either a TV card in your PC, or use your VCR.
The output from your digibox as I understand it, is merely a decoded UHF signal which has to be converted into sound and vision elements before there is anything to be seen on the screen or heard on a speaker.

audio from sky is not a problem.

most sky digiboxes have L R rca phono outputs on the back of the box.

either connect these to an amplifier using phono to phono leads or connect to your soundcard line jack in via phono to 3mm jack lead.
