Size of Quick Launch bar

I have more items in my Quick Launch bar than actually fit in it, so I have to use the bar at the side to make it big enough.

However when Windows reloads, it returns to the smaller size again with the double arrow at the side indicating there is more items.

How do I make the Quick Launch bar remain at the larger size?

resize and lock it. (Right click and select lock the toolbar)

Why not drag some onto the start button

You can drag the bar then lock it, by right click on task bar/properties

Right you are using Win98se like my old Comp I am on now. It does not exist in 98

if you drag bar to left side or right side then the Icons do not take as much room up

and I don't have the problem either...

I've about 8 items on it so I had to drag it larger... It doesn't present itself smaller on bootup.

I'll have a look when I get home and see if I've done anything strange, but I don't think I have.

Yeh, ive recently formatted my hard drive and its just started doing it. It USED to remember the size of it.

Anyone know which Registry entry I can edit to make it remember the size?
