Sitecom Homeplug not transmitting through electric

  kapilrajarora 12:20 16 Nov 2015

Hi There, I have been using Sitecom homeplugs from couple of years to have internet all around my house for viewing TV and for laptops etc. But recently we had a problem with WIFI and after resetting the Modem, I am having a problem using homeplugs. Somehow the internet is not "flowing" through electricity. So the homeplug is receiving internet through router, but it is not transmitting further. The light "with electricity sign" on the home plug is not on. any suggestions?

Try a different Homeplug - they do break-down sometimes.

Once these systems are set up and working there is not much that can go wrong, unless something happens to the house wiring, or the homeplug fails as Nontek has suggested.

Just had to replace a pair after three years continuous use. I thought they went on for ever but according to my research three years is good.

One of my TP link Homeplugs failed around the three year mark.
