Site of free driver scan and repair

Can anyone tell me where I could get my computer scanned for driver faults and repairs.

Since installing SP2 my computer has regularly closed down and I get a message that a driver is at fault. I ran a Driver Scan and it told me 32% of my drivers are 'out of date' but to repair the problems I would need to join at a cost of 29$

Can anyone tell me if the only option is to get this programme or is there another way to resolve this problem - many thanks.

The reason I am on absolute beginners is because I'm not very computer literate.

I'm not sure where to get the information but I will tell you what I can find

Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Sp 2

Pentium (R) 4cpu 3.06GHz

Sorry if this is not any help

Whatever you do, don't waste $29 on some overpriced "service" that you can do for yourself without too much bother.

You can take these free scan reports with a pinch of salt, you will probably end up requiring just a few driver updates, the object is to get you to buy something you dont need
