Shutdown failure Norton Internet Security & GoBack

  Laneham 15:49 12 Nov 2004

I have Win.98SE & have recently installed Nort.Int.Sec. & GB. Fatal exception occurs when I attempt to Shutdown and I am forced to shut down manually. I believe that GoBack is the problem but the computer is badly slowed even when GoBack is disabled. I would like to keep GoBack if possible. Please keep any explanation simple for the geriatric!

GoBack can slow your system down, but it doesn't create errors like this. I would say that Internet Security is to blame if the problem is to do with one of these products. Try REVERTING your system to see if that sorts it out (using GoBack obivously)
