Hi I was wondering if my computer performance would improve much if i purchased a graphics card.

Currently I only have the onboard graphics card "VIA/S3G UniChromeII Graphics 64MB shared"

I dont play computer games so when i ordered my PC i just thought i would never need one.

I use my PC for the internet, PC-TV, tele recording, DVD recordering, copying home movies to DVD and general use.

Views please,

Owen

Hi, yes, a graphics card would be a goood improvement. I suggest either NVidia or Radeon.

Cheers.

i dont want to spend too much money on one, what would you recommend to get, I would like NVidia, just because my TV tuner is also made by that company.

What extra benefits would a graphics card give to me? I have read up things but just can't understand what model would be best suited to my needs and how it would improve over my current intergrated card.
