Hi, looking for some help please. bought 3rd laptop for my son but cannot get it connected to wireless. Other 2 laptops working on it fine. Its a Dell c610 on Windows 2000. external wireless card which has power light on and drivers installed. status is connected but packets sent and received is Zero. dont know where to go with this one, never had windows 2000 before. Any help appreciated. Thanks

As Windows 2000 doesn't have the equivalent of XP's "Wireless Zero Configuration" to manage the wireless networking, have you installed the wireless adapter's software as well as its drivers?
