Serif have already phoned me, with their offer of cheaper Page Plus 9 :o))

  Pesala 21:45 11 Oct 2004

• Long document support, booked publications • Full Unicode support • Mail merge images • Improved find and replace, fonts attributes etc. • Paste format • Picture toolbar (in place gamma adjustment) • Layer management • Picture frames (place-holders) • Colour picker • Footnotes and Endnotes (not many DTP programs do this) • Insert any Unicode symbol • Automated bookmarks for PDF files • Improved autoflow • HTML 4.01 transition support for web publishing •

I'm impressed by the number of new features included that were on the wish-list. Only time will tell whether it lives up to expectations, but it definitely looks like a must-have for me.

If it's less than £50, take up the offer. PP9 is an excellent program for producing PDF files.

PagePlus9 £9.95+£3.00 Handling=£12.95.

I have received an e-mail from Serif offering PP10 for £49-95. Pity I can't justify buying it.

Are you a member of the Serif Select scheme? Check it out at click here. The last pack was offering any product for £19.95 but I can't remember if it was Pageplus 9.0 or 10.0. Anyway, well worth a look.

I have today received in the post offering me Serif PP10 at a special price, but it doesn't say what the price is. You have to telephone them first before 13 November.

I got the e-mail last week offering it for £49.95. I also got a mailshot for PP9 at £9.95.

PP10 looks great if it less than £50 I will probably get it.

Serif Select Scheme seems like very much like a book club type of thing.Serif UK are trying to broaden their marketing, and this seems like a new venture.

Would you ley us know the offer price?

Spuds. The scheme has been ongoing for at least 3 years I think.
