Serial cable for digital camera
The serial cable suppled with my now ageing digital camera (Fuji MX-700), the one for downloading images from camera to computer, does not fit my new computer anywhere. Is it possible i can get a new cable from somewhere. The cable supplied with the camera, fitted RS-232c.

You may find it both cheaper and easier to buy a card reader. Serial connections are so s l o w.

Thanks for that tip PA28, hadn't thought of that.
Had a quick look on Google.
I see theres one that fits into a spare bay, like the sound of that.

Card readers are usually just plugged into a USB port.

Go with the card reader, a lot easier.

Looks like a good investment at that price - and futureproof..... for the time being!
