sending faxes using broadband

I used to send and receive faxes using my old dial up modem. How do I do this now that I have an ADSL modem with broadband connection

In a 'nutshell', use your old dialup modem.

Broadband is a connection to the internet and fax messages don't go via the internet, they are a direct phone connection between two fax machines (or computer programs which emulate a fax machine).

Or use an "email-to-fax" program such as efax click here which works by translating to and from email.

Reception can be free of charge, but transmissions are usually chargeable.
