Sending attachments

I've just had my NTL Bband upgraded, involved ahving a new samsung set top box. Since then I have not been able to send any attachments by email.Anyone any ideas?

At present I can send a small document but a jpeg (4mb)causes the system to hang after recieving, the status bar just sits there doing nothing and the message does not go.Prior to the upgrade I never had a problem so don't know whether its linked or coincidence.

what is your attachment settings some isps only allow so much data to be sent

where do I find what the limits on attachemnts are.Is it on the pc or do I need to find out from ntl?This was not a problem until the free upgrade,is it poss that ntl have changed the limits?
