Sender IP Address

Good Morning all

Im trying to get some facts together about some very disturbing emails I keep getting to my hotmail inbox could anyone please help me

Im gone onto the message and right clicked, then clicked on view source and allow but I require the following information if anyone could help me please

I need the senders IP address, 2 port number im guessing which have the smtp id attached, there should also be two of these id`s and also something called a X-Gmail-Received

Can anyone help me please?

Put the following into a google search

email sender ip address

and see if any of the methods in the various links helps.

Even if you have the IP address it won't tell you who it is.

Firstly it may be spoofed (faked).

Secondly only the originating ISP can tie an IP to an actual real address. They will only do this at the behest of appropriate authorities (ie the police), so you would have to go via the police anyway.

Is it annoying, or potentially criminal?
