Send files over LAN?

Hello guys.
I need to send a large 3.50GB files over LAN and some of the programs i tried does not work. Do you know any useful programs for this because i really want to send it over LAN not the Internet.

Sending files across a lan should involve no more than copying them from one computer to another.

So what programs do you think you need? - or can you explain a bit more thoroughly.

As DieSse states you should be able just to copy from one to the other. This is providing you can access a folder on the other computer (shared, public, etc) and have permission to do so.

If you can see the folder on the other computer open it on yours then drag and drop the file into it. That's how I do it on my wlan. Alternatively copy the file and paste into the other computer. It depends on whether you can open the destination folder on yours.
