SELF INSTAL OF ZYXEL USB MODEM FOR ADSL HELP?

Just signed up for BB here in IRELAND as I am here for 12 months so brought my PC from UK, using win98se but when I tried to do a self instal I could not get the driver for the modem, it says driver not found. I then did a manual instal according to the cd provided and still no driver or I was not asked to insert WIN98 CD. However, whatever was installed it changed my HD letters from c.d, to c, e. I have uminstaled now as a new disc is on its way from BTESAT support but I was told initially the modem would not work with WIN98SE!!
It is using PPPOE so can I do a complete self install and where can I get proper driver for this modem? Or is there some conflict on my PC?

Hope this made sense.
