security settings

when ever i try to download anything a pop up appears and says "unable to view file due to security settings" or something like that but its only just started happening i have unistalled all my spyware ,spydoctor , microsoft spyware (BETA) , adware se , spybot s&d , spyware blaster , i have left avg and sygate on my computer but i am at a loss as to what to do !!! any help would be much appreciated !

ooh could it be anything to do with reg mechanic because i recently ran a check witht that ??? if it is how will i restore it ? cos i have system restore turned off !!!

Do you mean you have uninstalled all your ANTI-spyware??

If so, why? Anti-spyware is nothing to do with security settings.

All you've now achieved is to leave yourself vulnerable to spyware.

In IE go to Tools; Internet Options and set the Security and Privacy settings to the Default level.

Oh, and then re-install your anti-spyware programs.
