Security centre show 2 firewalls???

  celestialstar 17:13 08 Jan 2010

The security center shows 2 firewalls - windows and comodo. I don't appear to have comodo on my list of programs - how can I get rid of it?

I think I did download a version sometime ago but uninstalled it.

Any suggestions?

Download revo uninstaller from click here either the free version or the pro version on 30 days free trial. If there are any remnants of Comodo still on your PC it will find them and remove them.

Thanks I've already tried this but no comodo shown on Revo.

Found a folder in Roaming named Comodo but it is empty.

Thanks for your link posted at 18:06.

I had un-installed AVG8.5, using AVG's un-installer, and installed Microsoft Security Essentials, on a WinXP Pro PC, seemingly all going okay. When I stopped MSE working, to run a defrag programme, Windows objected and warned me that I had multiple anti-virus programmes loaded, but that none were in operation.

I followed the instructions in your link and Windows is now convinced that only one anti-virus programme is loaded.

Thanks again, Peter.
