Second Hard Drive.Primary or Logical?

What would be the best way to set up my second HDD?(WinXP) disk management says they are both primary. Will this cause any problems?

No problems, Windows XP supports up to four Primary Partitions in a hard drive and there must be at least one. You wouldn't be able to create a Logical Drive in an Extended Partition if the second hard drive didn't already have a Primary partition.

Are you using SATA or PATA HDDs?

If you are using SATA and mean that when you look at Disk Management you see a blue line over the top of the partition/disk and it identifies it as a Primary Partition then no, you don`t have a problem.
