scrolling navigation bar

Hi. A couple of months ago, I launched this site click here, its a site for my local church. its been very well recieved, the only niggles people have is that the menu down the side disappears when scrolling down.

i did the menu using Macromedia Fireworks. it generates a helluva lot of code! i was wondering if someone could help me get the menu scrolling down the page.

i tried using frames, but if i have the links in a frame down the left, the submenus appear "under" the main frame, and so cant be seen.

any help will be great!

also, any feedback is always welcome. thanks

that wasnt exactly what i meant, but useful nonetheless!

what i would like is for when the user scrolls down the page (the menu disapears), then the menu automatically moves down. it'll most likely be something using Javascript.
