I run the full coral screensaver from serenescreen.com and have noticed recently that now and again the fish freeze for a split second. Is this because my graphics card is strugling ? My card is a Geforce mx440 64mb. I know this screensaver used to be very cpu intensive but this has now been sorted out with the latest version only using about 8-10% cpu so i thought this would be fine?

I have the older version of your graphics card and I have no problem. So I don't think its your card.

Thanks for replying AubreyS. Do you run the same screensaver? I put a question on their fan site and one of their moderators came back and said it is more likely to be something running in the background. I was more worried that i was overloading my graphics card.

have you tried updating graphics and sound drivers?

Could Norton antivirus running in the back ground give this problem?
