Screen Resolution Notice

Does anyone know how i stop the screen resolution notice from constantly asking me to change my screen resolution. It pops up on a blue screen whenever i change from one application to another.

Sounds like conflicting Display drivers.
Have you changed your video card recently?

There are various ways of correcting the problem, perhaps you should start by opening Control panel and in Hardware > Display > Properties.
Then select Remove and next shut down and reboot the computer.

With a bit of luck, when it reboots it will "Found New Hardware" and load the correct drivers for you.

If yop are still stuck tell us what set up you have (Video card, Monitor and operating version of Windows).

Thanks. It is the same graphics card as I've always had. Radeon 9800 pro, monitor viewsonic, windows xp.

Which model Veiwsonic do you have? I get this on my Viewsonic VX924 when it is not set to its "native resolution".
