Whatt do I need to scan slides.I have a HP 2115 psc printer.

Yours can scan, but scanning transparencies is not available on a multipurpose gizmo.

To do a half decent job you need a scanner with a light above the transparency, so that transmitted light rather than reflected light is measured.

There are scanners dedicated to film strips and individual slides, but more recently there are some good flatbed scanners which have a transparency facility

You need something like a Epson Perfection 3490 Scanner. This one, which I have, scans Slides and Negative Film.
