Scanner Problem

  subi 13:34 26 Jan 2006

I have been using an Artiscan 2400 FS Film Scanner and a Lexmark X75 Printer on my computer for over 2 years now and both have given no trouble until now.
When I booted up the computer today, neither the Scanner or Printer were working! Tried un- plugging everything, connecting everything up again and re-booted. This time the Printer was back to normal but nothing from the Scanner! Re installed the Software for the Scanner but still nothing. Everytime I try to import the Scanner in Photoshop 7, I get the following message " Twain Driver. Scanning Process is aborted because the Scanner is either not powered up or not connected to the PC Properly ". My O.S. is Windows 98 S.E. Can anyone help, please.

Sounds like you may have a problem with your USB drivers. Try reinstalling the latest ones for your m/b.

Thanks rmcqua, have located the driver on DriverGuide.Com and will see if that sorts the problem.
