They sent me a re-conditioned replacement, same again, scanner no good. I have been using second one (wireless)without scanner, and it does the job as I dont need to scan much. But this week, I really want to scan some pics, so I borrowed my son's Canon MP 210, but like 2 machines before, I can copy/print, but cant scan. The scanner window appears, but when I press scan, I get the message "cant communicate with scanner, cable may be unplugged" but its not. With it happening with 3 printers, surely its something to do my my pc?? john bunyan 12:42 07 Jan 2013 Have you installed the scanner drivers on your PC?
