scanner help

hya peeps again. i am wanting to scan a document and then be able to fill it in, ie form filling after scanning it. can you please tell me what programme i need as my printer/scanner wont allow me. i have an epson DX4450. does anyone know if this printer will allow me to do what i want to do.

Can you scan the document using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software? This would normally create a Word file which you can then edit.

Most scanners have OCR software bundled with them.

So that cannot be actively edited by a word processort.
As mention OCR will read and convert a document,
but some are good some are not so good and it will depend on the quality of the type face and other factors.

Seems obvious but the simple way is best,
Print it and fill it in by hand.
