Just received an email from "AVG for email"

Goes like this:

This is the AVG E-mail Scanner program.

I'm sorry to have to inform you that the message returned
below could not be delivered to one or more destinations.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
DATA: Message rejected
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Your e-mail message is being returned to you in the next part of this
message. Try to send the message again.

Should you need assistance, please contact your administrator or your
internet service provider.

It comes with an attachment (which I haven't touched).

As I haven't sent any emails since yesterday (which have all been answered anyway) it looks dodgy to me. Anyone else had this email?

Motto - If in doubt throw it out!

Believe me, I did delete it straight away. But we trust AVG don't we?

crx1600, agree. But most scam emails I have received always give a link to click. This one didn't (unless, of course, it is contained in the attachment) which I didn't touch.

I have emailed Grisoft asking if they are aware of this. Awaiting response.

Shut this one down now.

Thanks.

Ticked.
